Statement of Work: 
Laura Thompson has over 15 years experience in art and museum education. For the past three years, she has served as the director of exhibitions and education of Kidspace at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA. She was the director of education at the Schenectady Museum; the manager of school and family programs at the Museum of the City of New York; a museum and art education consultant for the Jewish Museum, Children's Museum of Manhattan, Historic Hudson Valley, and; and a faculty member of the Creative Arts Laboratory at Teachers College Columbia University. In these positions, Laura successfully: wrote grants, curriculum materials, web site information, and family guides; developed exhibitions and programs; conducted professional development workshops for teachers; and oversaw staff, volunteers, and interns. She holds a doctorate in art education from Teachers College Columbia University.
