Statement of Work: 
Gwen Spicer is a Textile, non-intrusive Upholstery and Objects Conservator, and full-time principal of Spicer Art Conservation. She received her graduate degree from the Art Conservation Program at Buffalo State College. She has fifteen years of experience, with six years as a private conservator. Storage is a special interest. She wrote the first draft of the Textile Catalog chapter "Storage Furniture & Materials" for the American Institute of Conservators. As an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, she teaches "Textile and Costume Storage". She has also assisted historic house museums with developing collection rotation policies for display and monitoring program of light levels. She is on the Board of Upstate History Alliance, where she is currently assisting in organizing a Housekeeping Workshop.
