The Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), established in 1977, is one of the largest nonprofit regional conservation laboratories in the country. CCAHA serves cultural, educational, and research institutions; government agencies; corporations; private organizations; and collectors throughout the United States. CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper, including drawings, prints, maps, posters, architectural drawings, musical scores, manuscripts, photographs, rare books, scrapbooks, historic wallpaper, and related materials such as parchment and papyrus.
