Museums in Conversation

The 2013 Museums in Conversation Conference will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton in East Syracuse, New York, April 14-16, 2013!  

Museumwise: The Museum Association of New York is pleased to bring the New York State museum community together to talk about our work!  This year's theme will be "What Does it Mean to Be Diverse?"

This theme builds directly on our 2012 conversations with keynoter Ron Chew!  To read more about these conversations check out this article by Joan Baldwin based on her interview with Ron onsite at the conference.

2013 Silent Auction

Showcase your organization to the largest gathering of museum professionals in New York State. Donate a gift of merchandise to the Silent Auction held during the annual Museums in Conversation conference in Syracuse, on Monday, April 15, 2013.

All auction items will be prominently displayed in the Silent Auction exhibit space at the Doubletree Syracuse during the conference. In exchange for your contribution, your organization will be listed in materials distributed to conference participants, and formally recognized in the Museumwise: MANY e-newsletter which is distributed to museum professionals throughout the state, additionally your organization will be recognized on the Museumwise: MANY website.

This conference draws participants from a broad range of cultural institutions representing many disciplines in the field. The annual Silent Auction is a popular feature that attracts a lot of attention!

Please consider donating a prize to this year’s Silent Auction. You can send your prize directly to the Museumwise: MANY office at 265 River Street, Troy, New York 12180 or bring it with you to the conference.
