Statement of Work:
I do a great deal of consultation for institutions on taking better care of their collections; my first book, Guide to Environmental Protection of Collections, has sold about 5,000 copies, and is widely recommended by my colleagues for their clients and students. My specialty for conservation treatment is objects of unusual materials. I have treated painted silk textiles, painted baskets, mummies, plastic objects, and costumes from movies, as well as more "normal objects like painted wooden sculpture and ceramics.
