Statement of Work: 
I have skills and experience as an educator, lecturer, researcher, artist, weaver, historian, collector of costume, designer, exhibit designer, collection consultant and "computerist”. My period of specialty is 1800-1860; my topic specialty is printed dress fabric of 1800-1860. Book to be published by Kent State U Press, c 2010. My experience is with small-to-medium sized collections, so I prefer to work with small and medium size museums and historical societies with costume collections in need of identification, cataloging, or storage; I can help with the conceptual issues of costume collection management. I also do workshops and lectures.
